2017 / Captiva, Florida
2019 / Whitney Biennial NY, NY

Video documentation of a project I started the day before the January 20th, 2017 inauguration. I sent an open invitation to the artists-in-residence and staff at the Rauschenberg Residency to let me record their voices as they listed their words of concern regarding the incoming administration, it's aftermath and the years that will follow. Their words and my own were edited together into a 3-minute tape loop and installed it the main Rauschenberg studio. The idea being that it would play throughout the inauguration day and act as a point of focus. All of these concerns that we share should give us strength instead of weighing us down. We are not alone. Our words have power.

Untitled (Words of Concern) was featured in the 2019 Whitney Biennial and the Whitney Museum of American Art and is now in the museum's permanent collection.
